Who we are

GaltGenius LLC (“we”) runs this website and makes an iPhone app that is in a private beta. Questions about this page go to support@galtgenius.com.

This website

• It sets no cookies and has no analytics, advertising or tracking code.
• It loads nothing from other companies: no outside fonts, scripts or images.
• Like every website, our hosting provider receives your IP address and browser details in order to deliver these pages and protect them from abuse. We don’t use that information to identify you.

If you email us

We use your email address and message only to reply. We don’t add you to a mailing list, and we don’t sell or share your details. Ask us and we’ll delete your messages.

Our iPhone app (private beta)

• It reads only what you share with it. A screenshot, text, a link or a PDF that you share to the app, and what you confirm on its card, are stored on your iPhone in the app’s own storage. The app reads screenshots on your iPhone.
• It doesn’t look anywhere else. It doesn’t ask for access to your photo library, contacts, microphone or location, and it doesn’t read your messages, mail or notes.
• Nothing you capture is sent to us. The beta has no account, no analytics and no advertising code, and it doesn’t send what you capture over the internet.
• Alerts are scheduled on your iPhone by iOS, if you allow notifications.
• Backups. If you use iCloud Backup, your iPhone’s backup may include the app’s data. Apple’s terms cover that backup.
• TestFlight. Beta testers install the app through Apple’s TestFlight. Apple shares with us what its TestFlight terms describe, such as crash reports and any feedback or screenshots you choose to send us through TestFlight.
• Deleting. Deleting the app from your iPhone deletes what it stored there.

Children

This website and our app are not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has emailed us, tell us at support@galtgenius.com and we’ll delete the message.

Changes

If anything here changes (for example, if this site offers a way to sign up for the beta), we’ll update this page before the change takes effect and change the date at the top.
